Some places just feel right the moment you walk in. That's what we've been building at Biddy Kate's since 2004. A warm, friendly cafe and bar in the heart of Blenheim where the coffee is great, the food is good, and there's always someone up for a yarn.
By day we're the spot for a catch-up over coffee or lunch with workmates. By night the taps are flowing, the pool table is going, and if there's a big game on, you'll find it on our screens. Wednesday quiz night packs the place out, and in winter the fire keeps things cosy.
More than anything, Biddy's is about people. Locals who've been coming in for twenty years, visitors discovering Marlborough, and everyone in between.

Biddy Kate's is owned and run by Terry and Audrey Sloan, long-term Marlborough locals with deep roots in the community. For the Sloans, this is more than a business. It's a family affair, built on a genuine passion for looking after people. When you get a warm welcome at Biddy's, it's the real thing.

Heading to a show? We're directly across the road from the Whitehaven Theatre and just a short walk from the Marlborough Events Centre. Join us for dinner and drinks before the curtain goes up, or call in afterwards to talk about the show. In town for a conference? We're the easy choice for lunch, dinner or a well earned drink at the end of the day.
